The Council of Honour was established as a dedicated channel for students to communicate with the school authorities, serving as an esteemed body of honourable collectively as the voice of the students.

The council comprises the following distinguished members and positions:

Council Positions and Descriptions:

1. President:

  • Presides over all meetings and reports to the Dean, Students Affairs.
  • Supervises other officers, acts in their absence, and delegate responsibilities.
  • Sets up adhoc committees as authorized by the university administration.
  • Represents and protects students’ interests, reporting matters beyond control to the university administration.

2. Vice President:

  • Assists and acts for the President in their absence.

3. Hostel Moderator:

  • Allocates rooms, appoints apartment coordinators, and maintains discipline in accordance with hostel rules.
  • Purchases materials for hostel maintenance and reports matters beyond their control to the Dean of Students.

4. Assistant Hostel Moderator:

  • Assists the Hostel Moderator in all capacities and acts in their absence.

5. Labour/ works Coordinator:

  • Coordinates student manual labor for tasks like cutting grass and construction.
  • Performs duties assigned by the university administration. And works with work’s department

6. Assistant Labour/works Coordinator:

  • Assists the Labour Coordinator in all capacities and acts in their absence.

7. Sanitary Coordinator:

  • Oversees sanitary matters in the university.

8. Assistant Sanitary Coordinator:

  • Assists the Sanitary Coordinator in all capacities and acts in their absence.

9. Social Coordinator:

  • Organizes and oversees social events.

10. Assistant Social Coordinator:

  • Assists the Social Coordinator in all capacities and acts in their absence.

11. Press Coordinator/ Council Secretary:

  • Manages press-related activities.

12. Assistant Press Coordinator/Council secretary:

  • Assists the Press Coordinator in all capacities and acts in their absence.

13. Utility coordinator

  • Manages matters related to electrical repairs of the hostel and campus. Works alongside the school’s electrical engineers

14. Assistant Utility Coordinator:

  • Assists the Utility Coordinator in all capacities and acts in their absence.

15. Prayer Coordinator:

  • Coordinates prayer-related activities.

16. Assistant Prayer Coordinator:

  • Assists the Prayer Coordinator in all capacities and acts in their absence.

17. Time Regulator:

  • Regulates and manages time-related matters.

18. Assistant Time Regulator:

  • Assists the Time Regulator in all capacities and acts in their absence.

19. Level (Year) Representative:

  • Represents the interests of their respective classes.
  • Assistant year representative from law also serve as the Legal adviser to the Council

20. Financial secretary: 

  • Chief financial officer of the Council

Terms of Reference:

  • Responsibilities include presiding over meetings, supervising officers, representing students’ interests, and performing duties directed by the university administration.
