On behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Rev. Fr. Prof. Dr. Christian Anieke, Management and Staff of Godfrey Okoye University, I warmly welcome all our old and incoming students to our Faculty of Law.
As our old students will attest to and our incoming students will soon experience, our young Law Faculty is very distinctive in our goal of training future Lawyers who will graduate with Unity of Knowledge.
By Unity of Knowledge we mean a programme of study comprising of the complete course syllabus for Law Faculties, religious and moral training and uncompromising discipline.
Our goal is to train young Lawyers who will be sufficiently prepared to meet the Legal needs of their clients in the 21stcentury, and who will do so ethically and morally.
The uniqueness of our Legal training consists of a first-class academic staff carefully drawn from reputable national and international universities. Some of them possess over four decades of experience in Legal training.
Our Law and e-Library is one of the best in the country. We have established academic and training linkages with some African and Foreign Law schools with a view to exposing our students to their peers in these countries in the course of their training. Our Legal clinic course is carefully developed to complement the legal theory with Legal practice.
Our facilities are acclaimed to meet international standard while the ambience of our environment is superbly ideal for serious learning.
