Godfrey Okoye University Enugu has received the Keyman award as the Best Private University in the East of the Niger from the Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ECCIMA).

The Vice Chancellor of the university Reverend Father Prof. Christian Anieke received the award on behalf of the institution at a ceremony in Enugu.
